The Challenge
With hundreds of recorded sessions from past conferences focusing on specific educational topics, CRF needed a platform that would enable any practitioner access any video at anytime in one place instead of going to the individual CRF conference websites which also have limited access to videos. The challenge was to create a streaming service to make all videos accessible to our audience as well as a subscription plan which would also generate revenue for CRF. Another challenge was categorizing the hundreds of different sessions from different conferences under specific topics.

The Solution
In order to combine all the different topics from all the past conferences, we focused on categorizing all the videos by using metadata and tags. By doing so, this allowed us to combine similar learning sessions from different conferences under the same topics which made it easy for the user when doing a search for a specific category. We also created subscription plans to suit practitioners needs, this would allow to generate revenue for CRF post conferences. We also used dark colors which are part of the CRF brand guideline to give it a streaming service feel.
